Over the weekend I heard about a bride who was making her wedding bouquet out of vintage jewelry, and I thought, "What a great idea!" Of course, I was primarily thinking of the deadline for my next blog... But then I put my bridal cap on, and I loved the idea even more! What a fun and creative way to incorporate a family heirloom (without having to put it on your wedding dress!). And when the wedding is all over with, you have a special keepsake that will last forever.
And then today by sheer coincidence (I think), I met Amy Malone, one of our customers and a bride-to-be (Congrats, Amy!). We started talking about the vintage jewelry we have in the shop, and she told me that she's planning to make her own bouquet using vintage costume jewelry. The next thing I know, we're on Pinterest together looking at sample bouquets she had pinned for inspiration.
